Enjoy a spa in Tallinn
Here is our guide to Tallinn’s best spas – whether you’re looking for a luxury, romantic, organic, or family-friendly experience.
Estonia is rightly proud of its 200-year-old spa culture, which is still flourishing today. The capital city of Tallinn is home to everything from large and exclusive luxury spa hotels to charming little day spas and beauty salons offering a wide range of spa treatments.
Estonia’s spa tradition was introduced as long ago as 1813 by Georg Witte in the Kadriorg part of the city, which quickly became the holiday destination of choice of the Russian royal family. At this health resort it was possible to revitalize yourself with a range of different treatments.
There is no longer a spa in Kadriorg, but if you head for the Old Town and the city center, you will find several spas that are well worth a visit. Prices range from the luxury to the extremely affordable – there’s something for everyone who’s looking for a fresh start for body and soul.
Five spas to check out in Tallinn
Romance at the Reval Day Spa
In the heart of the Old Town you will find the romantic Reval Day Spa, where you will be looked after by well-trained staff in lovely surroundings. They offer skin and body care, as well as beauty treatments such as brow and lash coloring. The Reval Day Spa also offers treatment packages for customers in pairs, such as “Romantic for two” or “mother and daughter”.
Luxury at Elemis Spa
The luxury Elemis Spa is housed in the five-star Telegraaf hotel.
Here you will find a top-class treatment menu with a wide range of different facial treatments, massages, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Naturally you can borrow a bathrobe, towels, and toiletries during your visit. Book in advance!
Views at the Babor Beauty Spa
If you want to enjoy a glass of champagne and an impressive view with your soothing treatment, then you should take yourself up to the 24th floor of the Radisson Blu Sky Hotel. Here you will find a warm welcome for the whole family and the kids will particularly enjoy the water slides, children’s pool, fantasy pool, hot tub, pearl bath and flower bath, and the 50-meter pool. There is of course a beauty center and a wellness area, as well as a well-equipped gym that attracts a number of athletes.
